Cooker, oven and hob repair in Dubai

Cooking appliances are the ones people most want fixed the same day, and they are also the ones where a bad repair matters most — anything involving gas has to be done properly or not at all.

What goes wrong

• Gas burner will not light or will not stay lit. Ignition electrode, a blocked burner port, or the flame supervision device that shuts gas off when it sees no flame. That last one is a safety component and is meant to fail closed.
• Oven heats unevenly or not at all. Element or thermostat. If food browns on one side, it is usually the fan or its element.
• Electric hob zone dead. Element, switch, or the control board.
• Ceramic or induction hob showing an error. Tell us the code — it usually identifies the fault before we arrive.
• Oven door will not seal. Hinges or the seal itself. Worth fixing: a poor seal wastes a surprising amount of energy and ruins baking.

A note on gas work

We will not leave a gas appliance in a condition we are not satisfied with. If a burner, hose or connection is unsafe, we will tell you plainly and either fix it or disconnect it. If you smell gas, do not use the appliance, ventilate the room, and call us or your gas supplier immediately.

How long does the repair take?

About ninety minutes for most faults, usually same day. Where a specific element or board has to be ordered, we fit it on a return visit without a second call-out charge.

Can you install a new cooker or hob?

Yes — gas or electric, including the connection and a full function and safety check. A new electric hob sometimes needs a heavier circuit than the old one, which is electrical work and we will tell you at the quote stage rather than on the day.
