Water dispenser repair in Dubai

Water dispensers are in almost every Dubai home and office, and they get very little attention until they stop working. Most faults are small, and most are worth repairing rather than replacing the unit.

Common faults

• Water is not cold. Usually the cooling system or its thermostat. On some units the cooling switch on the back has simply been knocked off.
• Hot tap not heating. Heating element or thermostat, or the hot-water switch is off.
• Leaking from underneath. Often the bottle seat or a split internal hose. Worth fixing promptly — a slow leak into a cabinet damages the unit and the floor.
• Taps dripping. Worn valve seals, an inexpensive part.
• Water tastes stale or smells. The tank needs sanitising rather than repairing.

Sanitising matters more than people think

The tank inside a dispenser sits at room temperature holding standing water. Over time that builds up biofilm, which is what causes a stale taste long before anything visibly fails. We sanitise tanks and lines as a service in its own right, and it is worth doing roughly once a year in this climate.

About an hour for most repairs or a service, and we can usually come within the day.
