Painting services in Dubai

Most of what makes a paint job look good — and last — happens before any paint is opened. Preparation is the part people cannot see afterwards and the part that decides whether the finish still looks right in two years.

What the job includes

• Covering and protecting floors, fittings and anything staying in the room
• Filling cracks and holes, and sanding back
• Treating damp or stained areas so they do not bleed through
• Priming where bare, repaired, or changing colour substantially
• Two coats as standard, more where a colour change demands it
• Cutting in properly at ceilings, skirtings and frames
• Clearing up and putting the room back

Cracks and damp need dealing with first

Painting over a crack hides it until it reopens, and painting over damp guarantees the stain returns through the new coat. Where we find either, we will tell you what is causing it. Sometimes it is settlement and cosmetic; sometimes it is a leak, in which case it needs plumbing attention before we paint, or the same stain will be back within months.

Exterior work in this climate

Sun and heat are hard on exterior paint. Colour fades, and the wrong product on a hot wall will not last. Exterior work is timed to avoid painting in direct heat where possible, and uses coatings suited to the exposure rather than whatever happens to be cheapest.

How much does painting cost in Dubai?

Quoted per job after seeing the property. Area matters, but so does condition — a room needing extensive filling is more work than one needing none, even at identical size. We give a fixed price before starting.

How long does it take?

A single room is typically a full day including preparation and drying between coats. A whole apartment runs to several days. We give a realistic schedule at quote stage, including how long before the room is usable.

Often done alongside tiling as part of a refurbishment — see finishing work for both. For small repairs before decorating, handyman work may be the better fit.
