Emergency call-out in Dubai

What counts as an emergency

• A burst pipe or a leak you cannot stop. Turn off the water at the main stopcock first if you can reach it, then call.
• Water coming through a ceiling. Keep people out of the room — a saturated ceiling can come down.
• Complete power failure, or a breaker that will not stay on. Especially where the cause is unknown.
• A burning smell from a socket or the DB board. Stop using the circuit and call.
• AC failure in peak summer. Genuinely urgent in a Dubai August, particularly with young children or elderly residents in the property.
• A blocked drain that is overflowing.

What to do while you wait

For water: shut off the supply and move what you can out of the way. For electrical: leave the affected circuit off — do not keep resetting a breaker that keeps tripping, because it is protecting you from something. For gas: ventilate, do not operate switches, and get everyone out.

How quickly can you get here?

We prioritise emergency calls and attend as quickly as we can reach you, but we will not promise a fixed response time we cannot control — traffic and building access in Dubai vary too much for that to be honest. What we will do is tell you realistically when we can be there when you call, so you can decide.

What does an emergency call-out cost?

The call-out is quoted when you call, so there is no surprise on arrival. Any repair beyond the initial visit is quoted separately once we have seen the fault. We do not use an emergency as leverage for a higher price on the repair itself.

Properties on an annual maintenance contract get priority response between scheduled visits. For non-urgent work, ordinary plumbing and electrical bookings are usually available the same day.
